Privacy policy

Your questions are personal. We treat them that way.

Rose is designed around discretion and data minimization. Sexual-health and intimate preference information can be sensitive, so we aim to collect only what is useful to provide Rose, improve it, protect it, or give you access.

Information you choose to give us

For early access, Rose may collect your email address, questionnaire selections, and any optional written response you submit. These responses may reveal information about sexual health, preferences, experiences, or concerns. Do not submit information you do not want Rose to store.

Information collected automatically

Rose records limited product events such as a landing-page view, questionnaire start, questionnaire completion, and signup. We may also store campaign or referral parameters so we can understand how people found Rose. We currently avoid third-party advertising trackers on the early-access experience.

How we use information

We use early-access information to operate the waitlist, understand what prospective users want, improve and personalize Rose, measure product interest, prevent abuse, maintain security, and contact you about Rose and your access. We do not use intimate questionnaire answers to build advertising audiences.

AI and personalization

Rose is being built to personalize guidance from information a user chooses to share. Before intimate journey data is sent to an external AI or model provider, Rose will disclose that processing and the relevant provider practices. The current early-access questionnaire is not sent to an AI model to generate individual health advice.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell your intimate information. Information may be processed by service providers that help us host, secure, store, analyze, or communicate about Rose, subject to the access needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information when legally required or to protect users, Rose, or others.

Retention and deletion

We keep early-access information while it is reasonably needed to operate and evaluate the waitlist and develop Rose, unless a longer period is required for security or legal reasons. You may request deletion of information associated with your email. We are building self-service privacy controls before account-based intimate journey data is launched.

Security

Rose uses access controls and technical safeguards intended to protect information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Administrative access to early-access responses is restricted and privileged database credentials are not exposed to the public browser client.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, delete, correct, or obtain information about how personal data is used or shared, and additional rights may apply to consumer health data. Rose will honor legally applicable requests. Contact us using the privacy contact below.

Adults only

Rose is intended only for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly invite or collect early-access information from children or minors through this experience. If we learn that a minor submitted information, we will take steps to delete it.

Health and medical information

Rose is a self-discovery and educational product, not medical care, diagnosis, treatment, emergency care, or a substitute for a licensed clinician. Rose is not currently offered on behalf of a health plan or healthcare provider. Consumer health information entered into independent apps is not necessarily protected by HIPAA, and other privacy laws may apply.

Changes to this policy

As Rose evolves, our data practices may change. We will update this page and its effective date when they do. If a change materially affects how sensitive information is used, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required.

Privacy contact

For now, early-access members may reply to a Rose email to request access to or deletion of their waitlist information. Before public launch, Rose will publish a dedicated privacy contact on this page.
